**The Crossing | Swimmers (Series I), 2026**
*Bas Sore*

A swimmer reaches into the blue, one arm extending beyond the visible world. Her body cuts horizontally through an otherwise empty expanse, suggesting an endless journey toward something just out of reach.

In *The Crossing*, movement becomes an expression of longing. The destination remains unseen; what matters is the effort to reach it.

An original, one-of-one cyanotype from *Swimmers (Series I)*, Bas Sore's exploration of weightlessness, vulnerability, and the human desire for freedom.

Hand-exposed and developed on watercolor paper, signed and dated by the artist, and presented in a gold-tone frame with white mat.

This minimalist figurative artwork brings a quiet, contemplative presence to contemporary interiors, coastal-inspired spaces, and collections of original photography.

Not a reproduction. Slight tonal variations are inherent to the handmade process.
