THE STORY
Jordan is a landscape of ancient stone and ruins set against the modern city. At the Amman Citadel, surrounded by temples, columns and monuments, I found myself drawn to something quieter: a doorway.
Beyond the worn stone was no grand ruin, only a wall of burnt ochre illuminated by the Jordanian sun. Color, texture, age and light.
I am often more interested in what exists at the edges of the places we are told to photograph. A doorway holds both directions: the world left behind and whatever waits beyond it. It is a threshold—an invitation to change, begin again, or become something new.
THE DOORWAY captures that tension: ancient and modern, ruin and renewal, what remains and what comes next.
Each Paper + Stone print is individually inspected, signed and numbered on the reverse, and accompanied by a Certificate of Authenticity.
